I'm always intrigued by characters that can see and/or speak to the dead. I'm especially interested to see how this story plays out in "Spirit and Dust" because the book is intended for ages 12 and up, so I assume it won't be as dark as the plot description would suggest it could be (though we all know what we usually get for assuming...)
